GMM: So tell us a bit about yourself:
My name Nikki and I’m originally Flint, Michigan but I live in Dallas now! I love anything outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Tell us about your modeling career?
I have been modeling for just over two years and I actually started modeling on accident. A friend took me to a shoot and the pictures were posted afterwards and then photography request became overwhelming. Presently, I am not with an agency. I would love a few more publications in the next two years. Other than that I am just seeing where things go on their own
What do you enjoy about modeling?
I enjoy meeting new people and seeing what kind of art we can produce together.
Take us through your getting ready to model routine?
To get ready for a shoot I generally get everything together clothing wise the night before. In the morning I figure out how the photographer wants my hair and makeup than do it and head off (makeup has always come easily to me).
What is the best info you can give a new model?
I would tell new models to check references to be safe, know their comfort levels and to enjoy every second of it..
As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
Finding time to model as much as I would like.
Tells us a not so fun time at a shoot?
Worst experience I had modeling was at a beach shoot. I climbed onsome rocks which were gorgeous only to be mauled by sand fleas shortlyafter.
How bout a fun one?
My funniest photo shoot memory was when I was posing on a chair and right when I felt all cute it collapsed from under me.
