GMM: Your Astrological sign here, how would you describe your personality in that regard?
Karissa: *Christian (Don’t believe in it), As far as my personality goes. I’m really fun, loving, I get excited easily and I like being silly and laughing at jokes!
GMM: What would you say is your best asset?
Karissa: My Best Asset… My Mind.
GMM: What do others compliment you on the most?
Karissa: My Butt
GMM: How did you get started in modeling?
Karissa: I went from Go Go Dancing to modeling. I was working at a club when a photographer came up to me, gave me his card, and we set up a shoot from there. After my first shoot I fell in love!
GMM: Are you signed with an agency?
Karissa: I am not.
GMM: What do you enjoy most about modeling?
Karissa: The fact that I can dress up and get really made up! You also have the ability to get into a character (depending on the type of shoot.)
GMM: What is the funniest thing to happen to you on a shoot?
Karissa:Slipping on a cupcake that someone left on the edge of the set.
GMM: What are the top three things you like to shoot?
Karissa: Fitness, Fashion, and sometimes Lingerie!
GMM: Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being a glamour model?
Karissa: I absolutely do, yes.
GMM:Where do you want your career to be in two years?
Karissa: I’m currently pursuing a degree in Accounting and I’m currently a Loan Specialist outside of modeling. I see myself working for a major corporation while responsibly managing all of the money I obtain modeling! 😉
GMM: What are some of your hidden talents other than modeling?
Karissa: I can sing, but I am reallly shy to do so in front of others!
GMM: Take us through your getting ready to model routine?
Karissa: Wake up 5-6 hours before the shoot. Manicure/ Pedicure. Shower, shave all of the particulars, get out oil up. Do my hair (usually takes an hour and a half) and then get my makeup done. I generally go to MAC and leave with a bag full of goodies and a face set for the shoot! From there head to the shoot.
GMM: What is the best info you can give a new model?
Karissa: Be YOURSELF!
GMM: As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
Karissa: My biggest obstacle… Managing “everyday life” and the life of a model. It can be tough!
GMM: If you had to walk away from modeling today, what memory would you take from it?
Karissa: Just the simple fact that I had the ability and opportunity to do something amazing and fun! Not everyone can model!
GMM: If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?
Karissa: My personality!

Karissa: Someone who’s charismatic, not closed off.
GMM: What personal qualities do you think the man of your future should have?
Karissa: A little bit of a control freak (i.e. finances, cleanliness, everyday decisions) Someone who, again, is not afraid to speak their mind. Has a tough guy attitude but is really a sweetheart. Funny, smart, intelligent. The Usual. ; ).
GMM: What body part of a man do you think is sexiest?
Karissa: Arms and upper back
GMM: When it comes to your taste in men, pick one: “the bad boy” or “the nice guy”?
Karissa: The bad boy without a doubt!
GMM: How does a man keep you interested once he’s caught your attention?
Karissa: I don’t know. Dating is not my main priority at this point.
GMM: When it comes to men, what are some of your turn offs?
Karissa: “Thug-Life”, Wanna be rappers, and men pursuing the music industry.
GMM: What’s the most memorable thing a guy has done to get your attention?
Karissa: I had a man pursue me once who set roses out on my front porch. He hid them in a section of the patio and when I came out I couldn’t see them. All I got was the note that implied there was a surprise for me, but I didn’t know where it was! I left my house and this guy literally jumped over a 7 foot fence to get me to come back and get the roses!
GMM: In contrast, what was the worse thing?
Karissa: Pretended to be ill so I would care for him. Boy did that backfire!
GMM: Do you have a quote that you live by?
Karissa: Mostly scripture, the Book of Proverbs has everything you need to live a good life!
GMM: What is your favorite city?
