Tell us about your modeling career?
I never viewed myself as very photogenic, but a friend was taking a class on photography and needed a model. I didn’t initially want to do it but after some cajoling I gave in. It turned out to be harder than I initially thought it would be, but it was also a lot of fun. After that, I didn’t really want to stop. There is something rewarding about seeing the final image and knowing you had a part in creating a beautiful, interesting, or sometimes even awful end result. I’m not signed with an agency, but I’m keeping an eye out for my perfect fit!
What do you enjoy most about modeling?
I love when I get to have someone do my hair and makeup because it just feels like a really special day for me. Also being in front of the camera and playing a part or some other version of myself is really fun. When I do pin-up I get to be cute and sexy and just have fun with it. When I do Glamour, I get to be chic and sultry. Every genre is different and there are a world of things to experiment with.
