Maisa: I’m Maisa Kehl and I’m a Model-Actress-Creative Talent from Brasil. I have dual citizenship (Brazilian and American) and my measurements are Bust:34C, Waist:25, Hips:34, Height:5’4″, Shoes:7, Dress:0-XS
GMM: Give us 5 words that you think best describe you?
Maisa: Creativity-Excellence-Passion-Integraty-Vivacious.
GMM: Taurus?…how would you describe your personality in that regard?
Maisa: I am a very positive and vibrant Taurus, reliable, practical, ambitious, independent and extremely sensual.
GMM: What would you say is your best asset?
Maisa: My smile.
GMM: What do others compliment you on the most?
Maisa: My drive and positivity.
GMM: How did you get started in modeling?
Maisa: My introduction in the industry was doing a commercial when I was 8 years old. Couple years later, at 10, I started participating in pageants and that became my life’s focus until I switched my concentration to modeling and acting.
GMM: What do you enjoy most about modeling?
Maisa: I certainly enjoy the infinite possibility of creation. Creativity and self-expression has always been essential to our humanity. Art develops a willingness to explore what has not existed before. Art teaches risk taking, learning from one’s mistakes, and being open to other opportunities.
GMM: What is the funniest thing to happen to you on a shoot?
Maisa: Ohh my.. too many great stories to tell.
GMM: What are the top three things you like to shoot?
Maisa: Glamour – Swimsuit/Lingerie – Commercial.
GMM: Do you enjoy the constant attention and adoration that comes with being a glamour model?
Maisa: I love the attention! I belive that attention is the most basic form of love; through it we bless and are blessed.
GMM: Where do you want your career to be in two years?
Maisa: I want to continue doing what I love with amazing artists, learning and open to new opportunities, standing besides wonderful companies that I am honor to promote and represent, and sharing my knowledge about the industry with the younger generation.
GMM: What are some of your hidden talents other than modeling?
Maisa: I am fluent in three conversational languages: Spanish, Portuguese, and English. I have a little dance experience (7 years of ballet, 5 years of jazz, samba, salsa, tango). Love and practice daily yoga, horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking, boiling, camping, travel.
GMM: Take us through your getting ready to model routine?
Maisa: I make sure to get good nights of sleep, practice 20min yoga every morning, eat mostly clean and organic foods (I specially love daily 1 full avocado+1 serving of fruit), drink lots of water.
GMM: What is the best info you can give a new model?
Maisa: Study, Study, Study. Practice, Practice, Practice. You always will have more to learn, this industry is always evolving but be as prepared as you can.
GMM: As a model, what would you say has been your biggest obstacle?
Maisa: When I got back into modeling in 2014 I believe my biggest obstacles were my height and age. But my drive to continue was bigger than myself, and for every accomplishment in the industry we are sending a clear message to the women around the world: It doesn’t matter the height, the size, the age, where you came from, the color of your skin, the language that you speak because if you work hard, with kindness, you can achieve your goals.
GMM: If you had to walk away from modeling today, what memory would you take from it?
Maisa: All the friends I’ve the pleasure to meet/work/collaborate with over the years; and the experiences that shaped me into the woman I am today.
GMM: If you had to walk away, what would you like to be remembered most for?
Maisa: As an authentic woman, who was fair and kind, and that always gave 110%, no matter what I did.
GMM: What, if anything, did we leave out that you want your fans to know?
Maisa: I am committed to my full creative expression and to inspire the full creative expression of others. Modeling is more then my passion, it is my life!
